Directions
to Castleton-VIT Site From the North - Take Route 7 south to Rutland. Turn right onto Route 4 west to exit 5 into Castleton. Turn left at the end of the ramp, & follow signs to the Castleton State College. Turn onto Castleton State College seminary lane entrance. (See hyperlink for campus map) Follow this road past Woodruff Hall. Turn right into large parking lot behind the Calvin Coolidge Library. After parking, follow walkway around to the Library Main Entrance. Upon entering the Library, turn right and go to the end of the hallway. Turn left and the viewing room is straight ahead. VIT is located in the viewing room. From the East - Take Route 4 West to Route 7 turn left onto Route 7 in Rutland. Turn right onto Route 4 west to exit 5 into Castleton. Turn left at the end of the ramp, & follow signs to the Castleton State College. Turn onto Castleton State College seminary lane entrance. (See hyperlink for campus map) Follow this road past Woodruff Hall. Turn right into large parking lot behind the Calvin Coolidge Library. VIT is located in the viewing room. From the West Take NY State Thruway -- I-87 to the Northway. Follow to exit 20, Rt. 149. Follow Rt. 149 East to Rt. 4 North, to Rt. 4 East. Follow Rt. 4 East until exit 4, Castleton. Take Rt. 30 South, then turn left on Rt. 4A East to campus.- follow signs to the Castleton State College. Turn onto Castleton State College seminary lane entrance. (See hyperlink for campus map) Follow this road past Woodruff Hall. Turn right into large parking lot behind the Calvin Coolidge Library. After parking, follow walkway around to the Library Main Entrance. Upon entering the Library, turn right and go to the end of the hallway. Turn left and the viewing room is straight ahead. VIT is located in the viewing room. NOTE: This building is handicap accessible.
