RECORDING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
- A
client may request that a tape or DVD recording be made of his/her
event scheduled on VIT. This request should be made during the Event
Liaison
process.
- The Event Liaison will determine with the client at what speed the recording
will be made, at what site the program should be recorded, and to whom the
DVD/tape should be given after the event is complete. The Event Liaison will
communicate these arrangements to appropriate VIT staff.
- After
the event has been recorded, the technician on duty will verify that
the DVD/tape is of good quality and then either give the DVD/tape to
the
designated
person, or, in certain cases, mail it to the designated person. In either
case, a Recording Receipt will be completed, with copies going to the designated
DVD/tape recipient, the VIT Central Office, and the site.
- The client is responsible for any future dissemination or duplication of
the DVD/tape.
- There
will be a charge of $30.00 for each DVD/tape made. VIT will provide
the DVD/tape. Clients may not bring in their own DVDs or tapes.
- In case of technical
difficulties, VIT will record the program free of charge.
